Diversity empowers employees by appreciating what makes them unique, whether that be their age, gender, ethnicity, disability, education, national origin, sexual orientation, or religion. According to Global Diversity Practice, “Diversity allows for the exploration of these differences in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.” Organizations that promote diversity acknowledge and appreciate the unique viewpoints of their employees.

  • Increased ability to recruit a diverse talent pool

Summary 

Diversity and inclusion are vital components to an organization’s success as they provide many benefits for both the employer and its employees. A workplace that emphasizes diversity yields employees the confidence to share their unique perspectives and experiences while feeling recognized and valued, regardless of their background.
