FWF’s employee spotlight highlights Janae Beltinck, a valued team member since 2021. In her position as an Operations Manager, Beltinck provides excellent service to our trusted partners through her consistent communication, industry expertise, and positive attitude. This week, we had the opportunity to learn more about her experience and the journey that led her to FWF.
How did you get to where you are today?
I graduated from Central Michigan University in May of 2020 with a master’s degree in English literature, language & writing. Due to the pandemic and other factors, I chose to make a career change and spent a year working in the retail industry, before deciding it was time to seek new opportunities.
What year were you hired at FWF?
I was hired in July of 2021 as a Logistics Consultant and moved to an Operations Manager role in March 2022.
What brought you to FWF?
What brought me to FWF was the opportunity to be a part of a growing company. On top of the potential for personal growth, the opportunity to see my work help shape the company and put our stamp on the industry was very exciting to me.

What FWF company value is most important to you and why?
I have always believed we can go further together, and I love that I work somewhere where I know we all have each other’s backs.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is the people and overall office culture. I knew FWF would be a great place to work after leaving my interview, and I have been proven right over and over again.
What advice would you give to someone interested in beginning their career in logistics and transportation?
The advice that I would give to someone interested in beginning their career in logistics and transportation is to know that it is okay to not have all the answers. Ask a lot of questions and learn from mistakes and missteps along the way. Do not be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
